María Mercedes made her first professional steps with the help of Alberto Varady and Julio Graña at Lopez Bouchardo National Conservatory in 2000. She went on training her mastery of violin with Luis Roggero, who at the time was first violin at the National Symphony Orchestra.
Teresita has joined numerous chambers and symphony orchestras such as Orquesta Sinfónica de la Facultad de Medicina (U.B.A), Camerata Exaudi (U.C.A), Camerata del Casal de Cataluña, Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Hurlingham, and Teatro Colón's Orquesta Académica.
In 2006, this talented musician joined the orchestra Escuela de Tango directed by Emilio Balcarce. Also, she has then played in several tango formations: Orquesta Típica Criolla, Septeto Vera Candioti, and Varietal Quintet among others.
In 2008 and 2011 she was member of Molière's "The Learned Ladies" and "The Bourgeois Gentleman" at San Martín Theater. Between 2009 and 2010, she traveled and delighted audiences around Mexico, Brazil, Italy, Germany, and Switzerland.
She has been a permanent member of Madero Tango and the Orquesta Típica Sans Souci since 2011. She is also currently part of the Popular Music Orchestra of the University of Buenos Aires.
