Tere and Mauro were born in Tucumán and Buenos Aires respectively, two beautiful provinces of Argentina. Mauro made his first artistic steps at the age of 11. After 8 years of intense training, he graduated, with the highest academic average, as Native Dances, Folk, and Argentinean Tango Teacher. Tere graduated from Ballet School of Tucuman Province (Argentina) at the age of 17. Because of her outstanding artistic skills, Tere has gotten many scholarships from many prestigious dance institutions: The Juilliard School, Joffrey Ballet School, and Steps on Broadway, all of them in New York City, where she studied ballet, modern dance and jazz with many renowned teachers and instructors. Also, in Buenos Aires, Tere was also pleased to be granted a scholarship from Julio Bocca Fundation.
Regarding Mauro’s professional growth, he has worked for many companies such as Mora Godoy, Tango Feeling, ND’s Fuego (Las Vegas), Forever Tango, Argentango (Japan), and Arrabal (Gustavo Santaolalla), which has taken him around America, Europe, and Asia. Today, Mauro is one of the most renowned Tango teachers of Southeast Asia. Also, Mauro’s acting experience includes participations in the film Amapola –Eugenio Zanetti-, and If Cat Disappears from the World –Akira- Nagai-. Tere’s list is not shorter: she has joined many companies such as Compañía de Leonardo Cuello, Tango a Tierra, Tanguera (Diego Romay productions), Tango Fire, Fusion Tango (Hernan Piquín), etc. which allowed her to show her talent the USA, South Africa, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, England, Wales, Italy, Japan, Chile, Brazil, South Korea, China, among others. At present, both Tere’s and Mauro’s talent and passion will go on delighting audiences around the world in Immortal Tango.
